All about our hosts, values, and the philosophy at Hotel Keil
Since 1977, the Guesthouse Keil has stood for heartfelt hospitality and lived family tradition. The hotel was founded by Anni and Ferdinand Keil, who began construction in 1976 – at that time still on a field, on a property they had acquired a few years earlier. The first guests were even welcomed before that in the family's private house, located directly across the street.
The hotel was built in 1977 in the form it still exists in today. Over the years, however, the house has been continuously modernized and expanded: first, the rooms were renovated, later the wellness area was enlarged, then two spacious apartments were created in the attic, and finally, a lift was added to the house.
With the further development of the house, the original guesthouse became the current Hotel Garni Keil in 2006. In 2015, Elisabeth Keil, the daughter of the founders, took over the management of the hotel. Since 2017, Elisabeths daughter Romana Keil has also supported the family business and continues the philosophy of the house together with her mother: personal care, family atmosphere, and vacation with genuine hospitality at Hotel Garni Keil.
